Huawei New Models Exposure: Octa-core / Quad-core Smartphone

It is reported Huawei will launch two new models, which really knock us this time one of the models should come with Octa-core processer. mydrivers.com has exposed the new configuration and price of these two new products.

It is said that these two new models still belong to the honor 3 Series , not previous rumor of honor 4 Series. The two models locate different, but it seems to point to the Xiaomi the as competition! One model points to Red-rice coming with 5.0 inches screen and 1GB RAM and 800 -megapixel camera. The other one points to Xiaomi mi3 coming with 5.5 inches large-screen, 1080P resolution, built-in 2G RAM and 13 million pixel camera.

Both the two new models are used with MTK processor, Huawei apparently also fancy the  higher cost performance MTK mobile processor, the phone lock at Red-rice may be choose between the new quad-core MT6588 or MT6582, and with 5.5 inches screen one is equipped with true eight-core MTK MT6592 processor.

More shocking us is the price, the new quad-core model is said to be 799 yuan, the other Octa-core one is 1,499 yuan. There is not any Huawei product with quad-core, 1 G+ 8 MP camera for the sale of 799 yuan, Look back to MTK6589 512M RAM Huawei G520T originally listed for sale 1,399 yuan , not to mention the model equipped with MT6592 processor.

There is no strong evidence to prove the massage above is ture, but it is released by Yu Chengdong , the vice president of Huawei, it seems to be more possibility than Red-rice 1S. If the price and the configuration is true, it should be starting a new round of price wars in disguise, looking forward to more good things happen in this winter.
