First, Renders of another upcoming ZTE phone, namely the ZTE Star 3, have popped up online. From what you can tell from the renders, the rear of the Star 3 will have a dual rear camera setup — something that we first saw on the HTC M8 back in 2014.
There’s no word on the specifications, however. One would assume that the Star 3 will be a high end device; at least a camera centric one if nothing else. The launch, however, is expected to be in a few months from now since the last Star phone from ZTE — the Star 2 — launched only six months back.
The renders also depict a couple of variants with varying textures… one of which looks like a polished metal while the other, a grippy textures rear. More should be known about the Star 3 in the coming months. The renders, though, we reckon you take them with a pinch of salt since there’s no real way of checking the authenticity.
Second, Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 3 (4) was initially launched in January this year, and as you would guess from the price, it is quite an entry-level phone. It has only a 4-inch screen, quite an anomaly in this day and age. The screen is a WVGA panel, and along with that the Pixi 3 has a dual-core MediaTek processor with a clock rate of 1GHz, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of on-board storage.
On the rear the phone has a 5 mega-pixel camera, while the front features a 2 mega-pixel sensor. Lastly, there’s a 1400mAh battery that powers the phone.

Third, Oneplus One had been rumoured that OnePlus might actually release two new device this year, and in fact this is what insiders are telling us too.
The phone that many will be be most interested in is the flagship OnePlus 2, or A2001. The key features of this phone being 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 810 processor, 16 mega-pixel main camera and 5 mega-pixel front. A 2K display and fingerprint scanner are also believed to be part of the package.

The second OnePlus Two model strikes us as very odd though. With only 2GB RAM and a Snapdragon 615, we find it hard to believe that anyone wanting a OnePlus device would buy this phone when the current OPO will offer similar performance and likely at a similar price without the supply issues. Unless the 2nd phone is a smaller device, what are the benefits of buying it?
Fourth, what will the new Meizu look like? Well unsurprisingly the new flagship will look a lot like the old MX4, but (if these renders are accurate) the MX5 will feature a physical home button and unibody all alloy chassis.The render also shows a flat rear and a 3.5mm headphone jack in the base of the phone rather in the top. A bit change considering Meizu don’t generally move headphone and physical button positions around.
